HeadBlade Review: Webster Style

Thanks to Damon Scott of Webster Style for this great review of our HeadBlade ATX Kit:

I’ve been a Gillette Mach 3 guy for a few years now since I started to shave my head again with a razor. I thought it was the best until I used the ATX All Terrain Razor System. The HeadBlade all terrain shaver is designed to look like a car. Mr. Greene has a love of automobiles which shows in his many designs over the last 15 years.

They call their shaving cream “HeadSlick” it is a Menthol infused shave cream. I never used this kind of shave cream before so I was a little skeptical (old fashion) I’m used to the foam cream etc. I’m not even a fan of the shaving gel. This menthol infused shave cream has given me a whole new look on my shaving experience. As I shaved my head I really enjoyed the cooling sensation I felt.

I really loved this product and I would recommend it to my fellow bald head friends, family, and anyone who shaves their head.

On Saturday, May 17th HeadBlade is incredibly stoked to support Mike “The Marine” Richman once again in Bellator 120. The main card portion is pay-per-view, but Mike’s fight against Goiti Yamauchi is FREE on Spike TV.  Mike has been one of our fighters for a while now, definitely tune in to watch him do his thing! Plus, he makes great videos like this:

May your weekend be filled with friends, beers and fights (on TV, not actual fights, don’t do that)!

Video of the Day – Mike Richman Prepares for Bellator 120

Today’s video of the day comes to us from Team HeadBlade’s very own Mike “The Marine” Richman. Mike may like to rock hair and a beard during training, but he always shaves down when it’s fight week. Mike decided to make a little Instagram video showing his transformation…what a difference!  Mike’s a true HeadBlader, as he was sure to use HeadShed first, then went to work with HeadSlick and the HeadBlade ATX.

Mike is fighting Goiti Yamauchi this Saturday in Bellator 120, live and free on Spike TV. Best of luck Mike!

Follow Mike on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

HeadBlade Review: The Gadgeteer

We love this review from Mark Rosengarten over at The Gadgeteer:

“Words cannot describe how much I detest my thin, sparse hair. [...] So what do I do? I shave my head. This is not so easy to do by yourself and with a stick razor it’s fairly difficult.  I searched for a different way to shave my pate and found this little beauty. The HeadBlade ATX is a cross between an ATV and Zamboni, with a rubber finger loop at the top and sporty wheels that glide the contraption on your head.

It’s possible to shave the head very quickly with this. The first time I tried it (this afternoon) it took my half the time it usually does. I will get faster as I get more used to this novel way of erasing my scalp.”

Welcome to the HeadBlade family Mark! It will only get easier (and faster) from here on out.  Be sure to check out the full review at The Gadgeteer.

HeadBlade Letter of the Month – April 2014

April's letter of the month comes from Michael A.

Hello,
I'm a Canadian living in Taipei, Taiwan. I heard about your product around Christmas when I was watching Inside MMA and Bas Rutten recommended the Headblade. I finally got around to ordering it for myself. I've ordered a lot of things online from North America recently as it's hard to find clothes etc. to fit me properly over here. I was very, very impressed and happy with how fast I received my order from Headblade.com. I'm extremely satisfied with the products I ordered (the ATX and the Head Slick shave cream)! Great products and great quality! I will be a customer for life! Has made my shaving easy and enjoyable, Thank you Headblade Team!

-Michael A.

Thank you Michael! Whether it's "HeadBlade is the best thing since sliced coconuts" or "This thing couldn't shave a lemon", we value your feedback. HeadBladers around the world send us stories, product reviews, pictures and more…we value them all! If you want to send us your feedback, send us a message from our support page. We read and respond to every message, so let us hear your thoughts.

Fight For Mark – Save $$ and Help a Rad Dude

Today we pay tribute to Kickboxer, Author and all-around Rad Dude Mark "FightShark" Miller.  We met Mark shortly after he underwent open heart surgery back in 2007.  From the start we had a great connection with him, not only because he sports a shaved head, but because his attitude and spirit are truly inspirational.

After his surgery Mark began on a tremendous journey with a singular singular focus: getting back in the ring to compete. In 2011, after years of rehab and training, Mark's hard work paid off when he earned a knockout win over Russian heavyweight Nikolaj Falin at United Glory 14 (the precursor to GLORY). Mark's KO win marked the first (and likely last) time any fighter has returned to fight professionally following open heart surgery. Inspirational to say the least!

Mark's life has been a rollercoaster since his triumph in 2011. Late last year Mark was hospitalized due to complications with his CHD and kidney failure. He is uninsurable due to his "pre-existing conditions" and facing a mountain of medical bills. One thing is for sure, you cannot keep FightShark down!

Being a HeadBlade sponsored athlete and friend we are extremely happy to run a special two-week long campaign to help raise money for Mark (and save YOU the HeadBlader some $$$)!

Use coupon code "fightshark" at checkout to get a 10% discount on any order at HeadBlade.com. The 10% you save will go directly to Mark to help with his medical bills. Offer expires at 11:59 PM PDT on Monday, April 7.

*If you would like to donate directly to Mark, please visit his GoFundMe page. No amount is too small and 100% of proceeds go directly to help his medical expenses. To learn more about Mark's incredible story, pre-order a copy of his book "Pain Don't Hurt: Fighting Inside and Outside the Ring" on Amazon. The book is being published by Chef/Author/TV star Anthony Bourdain's publishing imprint under Ecco books, and co-authored by his girlfriend Shelby Jones.
