I would stick with the apple but have an evolving ad using the base idea. You could have a series of ads over what evertime frame you liked. Each add would show the apple peeled a little more, perhaps a worm coming out of the apple looking at the headblade and saying "thats a close shave!" You could also make the ad for specific towns. Cross out New York and minute and replace with San Francisco and second as an example.
